Warabi in Saitama Prefecture is a city, which prospered as a post station on Nakasendo, one of the main roads in the old times. Since World War 2 it has developed as a residential city, as the metropolitan area has expanded. Warabi is known as the smallest city in Japan, having an area of just 5.19 square kilometers, and is densely populated, People are active socializers and are positively involved in community activities.
Warabi is famous as the birthplace of the “Coming-of-Age” ceremonies. It is, therefore, appropriate that this city will be the site of a guesthouse where young people get together.
Around Warabi Station are tasteful old shopping streets and also, nearby, a big shopping mall “Diamond City Carat” with more than 100 shops. Warabi is most convenient if your stay is to be a long one.
